Rica’s Arabian Nights

2. Khaliat nahl (honey comb/beehive bread)

This is a food that was first introduced to me when my Arab classmates brought some to school and shared some with the rest of that class, we weren’t allowed to eat in class but the teachers would let us eat if we got high scores in a test. It’s bread with cream cheese in it and topped with black and white sesame seeds. The type of bread and the cream cheese really tastes good together as the texture is just something so soft that it feels like you don’t even need to chew (you have to chew it, still). Plus, it being small and bite sides makes it a really great snack or something to munch on when you’re studying.
